crewpers.online – In March 29, 2024 Wuthering Waves held out a broadcast regarding Player feedback in the Close Beta Test (CBT) II that happened on February 19 – March 17, 2024.
The Developers addressed certain issue based on the Player feedback, the first issue that has been addressed is the Echo System. Echo is a unique take that the developer chooses to differentiate their games with other games that has similar genre. Echo is essentially function as equipment in Wuthering Waves, but compare to other games which you have to find or grind the equipment through fighting in certain domain, in Wuthering Waves you can fight a monster anywhere in the open world in order to take their souls and make them to become your echo. Once you obtained certain echo you can even transform into the monsters that you have selected.
The Devs has listened to the community and changed the Echo System to be less grindy, Players are now able to recycle useless echoes through the new Data Merge features. With this new system Players will be able to merge five echoes into one random echo. compare to the CBT II where useless echoes are completely unusable.
Next issue that has been fixed is the story dynamic, a lot of Players thinks that the story in CBT II is quite underwhelming and messy. The Devs stated that they were working in improving story dynamics, cinematic, and quest line arrangement. With this issue being fixed the story will undoubtedly become more engaging.
The last issue that has been addressed by the Devs is the sound effects. Many CBT II tester has complained about the sound effects being not as impactful and even delayed. Regarding to these issues the Devs has optimized the sound effects to be more impactful. Not only during combats but also in the story cutscene.
Wuthering Waves is set to launch on May
22, 2024, in PC, Android and IOS.
Stay tuned!
